- Kids never alone with Jon and JuliZ
- Kids not to sit under teaching from either, especially if we cannot be present (think kid's Sunday school at RVCF or camp teaching)
- We're OK with him leading singing (if we are present) because we see the potential damage of his exaggeration as minimal
- No "limits" or requests for Joel and Annette when they visit to "not talk to Jon while you're here" or "don't talk about the situation". We want to bear their burdens as best we can. We think we should control how we engage in any conversations to encourage, listen, respond, but not try to "figure it out" or offer advice. In other words, try to limit our emotional involvement.
- We'll answer any calls or texts from Jon or Juli but not engage on anything related to their marriage--directly letting them know that if needed. But, we want to be available to help where it's possible with practical things we know can benefit.
