Tell the class your theme, Scripture text and list the main points for your message. Present just the introduction to this message. Target 3-5 minutes, but no longer than 10 minutes. |
| Session 4 | Read chapter 7<br>Do supplemental questions from original book for chapter 7<br>Come up with an idea for a message (can be completely different from previous session). Tell the class your theme, Scripture text and list the main points for your message. Present one of the main points. Include at least one cross-reference and at least one illustration. Target 5 minutes, but no longer than 10 minutes. |
| Session 5 | Read chapter 8, first half of 9<br>Do supplemental questions from original book for chapter 8 and half of 9<br>Deliver your personal testimony based on what you learned from chapter 8. Target 5 minutes, but no longer than 10 minutes. |
| Session 6 | Read chapter last half of 9, 10<br>Do supplemental questions from original book for half of 9 and chapter 10<br>Deliver a portion of your message based on one of the "let us" verses in Hebrews. Target 10 minutes, but no longer than 15 minutes. Include at least one cross-reference and at least one illustration. |
| Session 7 | Read chapter 11<br>Prepare and present to the class a complete message on a topic and/or passage of your choosing. This will be the message you deliver again next session and to the chapel on a Wednesday night. Target 15 minutes. |
| Session 8 | Read chapter 12<br>Delivery complete message. Improve original message from feedback given in session 7. |
