<paragraph>I was born in Watford, England and I grew up in Croatia. My father is from the Croatian coast and my mother is from the North of England. My brother, sister and I grew up bilingual. </paragraph>
|
|
<paragraph>Three years ago I moved to Mittersill, a small town in the Austrian Alps to work at Schloss Mittersill, a Christian conference and study centre, where I spent time with people from all over the world. It was definitely a cultural education of the most fun sort. Learning bits of foreign languages along the way. I worked as part of the houseteam and was part of a band for a couple of years.</paragraph>

<paragraph>In September 2006 I moved to Vienna to continue my musical education. I'm now studying jazz voice at the Gustav Mahler Konservatorium. </paragraph>
|
|
<paragraph>Learning German myself these past few months, has been great. No courses, just listening and speaking despite my limitationsÖbut it has definitely been the best way to learn it. It's amazing how much easier it is to learn a new language this way. I believe PAE is doing a great job of giving people the opportunity to learn or and improve their English in the same way.</paragraph>

<paragraph>Ich bin in Watford in England geboren und in Kroatien aufgewachsen. Mein Vater ist von der kroatischen Küste und meine Mutter aus dem Norden von England. Meine Geschwister und ich sind zweisprachig aufgewachsen.</paragraph>
|
|
<paragraph>Vor drei Jahren zog ich nach Mittersill, eine kleine Stadt in der Nähe von Kitzbühl. Ich arbeitete auf Schloss Mittersill in einem christlichen Konferenz- und Bildungszentrum, wo ich viel Zeit mit Menschen aus aller Welt verbrachte. Es war eine sehr interessante Zeit und sehr wertvolle Erfahrung für meine kulturelle Bildung und bot mir gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit, weitere Sprachen teilweise zu erlernen.</paragraph>

<paragraph>Im September 2006 zog ich nach Wien, um dort mit meiner musikalischen Ausbildung fortzufahren. Jetzt studiere ich Jazz-Gesang am Gustav Mahler Konservatotium.</paragraph>

<paragraph>Ich habe in den letzten Monaten rein durch Zuhören und Sprechen im Alltag begonnen, Deutsch zu lernen; dies ist wohl auch der beste Rahmen, eine Fremdsprache zu erlernen. Es ist wirklich erstaunlich, wie viel leichter es ist, so eine Sprache zu lernen. Diese Chance bietet auch pro active enlish gibt seinen Kunden: Die Möglichkeit unter den gleichen Bedingungen Englisch zu lernen.</paragraph>
