<paragraph>After studying Classics at Oxford (Latin and Greek literature, history, philosophy and linguistics) I spent 3 months studying linguistics, in particular language-learning techniques for unwritten languages. I then spent a year in Northern Nigeria putting this into practice, as well as teaching local pastors how to use computers to make translating the Bible into their own language easier.</paragraph>
|
|
<paragraph>In the middle of two administrative jobs, I also finished a diploma in Theology at London School of Theology, and have recently moved to Austria with my (Viennese) wife to work part-time with a Christian organisation working with International Students in Vienna.</paragraph>
|
|
<paragraph>In my spare time, apart from working on our flat, I enjoy reading, walking in the mountains, and playing cricket. If anyone knows a good cricket club in Vienna, please let me know!</paragraph>
