Foster Contributor – in Support of Specific Families

What is a Foster Contributor?
Foster Contributors are like “Godparents” - they have a special interest in a special child/adult. As a Foster Contributor of the International Jairus Society you would choose a specific family (or more than one) who you would like to support. See our Families for more information on the child/adult in therapy.

What happens to the contributions I make?
The family you choose will be able to draw on these specific funds by applying to the Treasurer of the Society to reimburse funds spent on:
• air or other tickets travelling to IAHP or an ABR Centre (treatment organisation)
• car rental
• board and accommodation
• fees paid to the IAHP or ABR
• equipment necessary for treatment (e.g. therapy tables)

Will I be informed about the progress and results of the Treatment?
Foster Contributors will be regularly informed (generally by e-mail) of the progress of the individuals receiving treatment.

Foster Contributor Fees
• Foster Contributors – make regular contributions up to $150.00 per month
• Special Foster Contributors – make regular contributions upward of $151.00 per month
