Carter's Ministry Moments from 19.11.03

warmest greetings from Austria, to all our prayer partners, in the name of our Lord & Saviour !

so much has happened since we last wrote, and many miles (kilometers) under our belts since then

15.-19.Oct

22.-23.Oct

26.10 + 2.Nov

28.10; 4.+18.Nov

3.Nov
Little League board meeting

5.Nov
led Chapel book club in discussing "Courageous Leadership"

6.-9.Nov
helped lead European Prayer Summit in Zurich, for 40+ prayer leaders across the continent

9.-11.Nov
gathered young European prayer leaders (~ a dozen) at a youth hostel near German border

14.-17.Nov
Polish men's conference (due to Austria's rail strike, Leanne had to drive me to Bratislava to catch the first of several trains !) about 50 km SE of Warsaw/ Warszawa -- taught on the character of godly men and holiness ... and also had the chance to speak to a combination of the men's conference + the women attending a parallel retreat, for three 2-hour sessions on marriage roles

plus on top of these activities, are the normal discipleship, teaching, and encouragement meetings we conduct on a regular basis ... and of course, all of Leanne's mentoring and training sessions

so, as you can see, life has been "on the run" lately, and normal correspondence/ e-mails have suffered -- in the next weeks, I'll try to "catch-up" in the midst of setting up the dtn ministry office here in Austria and getting re-acquainted with my family ... who are all doing marvelously well, praise God

the ministry has been incredibly fruitful these days ... I know you are praying, and we are grateful to the Lord for your partnership

case in point: last Thursday night, as I was semi-frantically trying to sort out how to get to Poland in the midst of the strike, one of you telephoned while you were in the middle of a meeting because God prompted you to give us a call ! that 5-minute phone call was a breath of fresh air, and a wonderful reminder that the Lord has an army (i.e. you) mobilized to see His Kingdom come in east & central Europe, and knows every pressure and challenge we face here on the field ... and has prepared faithful ones around the world to pray that we would continue to walk in God's paths

thanks again for walking with us on this journey with and to the King
