dearest family, warm greetings to you from Austria, in the precious name of our Lord
this will be a short prayer request about an exciting up-coming ministry opportunity for Leanne ... she's just written her sister to ask her to pray, and I asked if we could send it out to all of you for your prayer support -- this is part of what she said:
I just finished writing a teaching outline for a church in Poland. I will travel from 22.-26.April to speak at a women's conference on what God does with pain and woundedness. It is material arising out of one of the women's ministries I help lead, but I am redirecting it to the present day/ tense, just to give people an overview of how the Lord works and what the Bible says on the subject. I am hoping that God will work in their hearts on these issues, and that He who begins a good work in them will be faithful to complete it! Please pray for God to make a way for these women, to prepare them for their longer-term love 'n' care, to keep in-check that which cannot be dealt with in one weekend, for a good working relationship with the pastor's wife who invited me to speak, and that all the logistics/ details will fall into place in a manner that will be pleasing to the Lord.
