1. Blessed is the man

   1. Relationship to the wicked

      1. Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly
      2. Stands not in the path of sinners
      3. Sits not in the seat of the scornful

   2. Relationship to the Lord

      1. Delights in the law of the Lord
      2. Meditates on His law day and night

   3. Like a tree

      1. Planted by rivers of water
      2. Brings forth fruit in its season
      3. Leaf does not wither

   4. Whatever he does prospers

2. Ungodly man

   1. Not like the blessed man
   2. Like chaff driven away by the wind
   3. Will not stand in the judgement
   4. Will not stand in congregation of the righteous

3. Summary

   1. The way of the righteous is known by the Lord
   2. The way of the ungodly shall perish

A. Righteous chooses to separate from unrighteous
B. Righteous loves the Law of the Lord
C. Righteous is firmly planted (like tree)
D. Righteous is prosperous

B'. Ungodly fails under judgement
